- If you don't have the time or a car to bring your packed boxes to a FedEx location then you can select the additional option to schedule one FedEx Pick-Up. FedEx will come to your home/business to pick up your packed boxes and get them on their way! You can also select to have the boxes picked up from your college, by dropping them off at the campus mailroom.
- Must order Kit a minimum of 7 business days prior to when you want your packed dorm stuff to get shipped, if you do this you'll have no fear of getting your belongings off to their intended destination and ready for your arrival.**
**Each box is insured up to $99.00 for which FedEx will review all cases. The insurance will be honored if FedEx recognizes that they are responsible for mis-delivery or damage that has occurred during transit. FedEx will deny claims if they deem that mis-delivery or damage was at the fault of the customer. This could be due to packages not being adequately taped, contents packed without proper cushioning/support, or shipping prohibited items such as liquids. DormCo supports all assessments made by FedEx and decisions on claims are final.**
**To create shipping labels we need at least 24 hour notice by email. You will receive an email from help@dormco.com shortly after placing your order requesting the information necessary to generate your prepaid FedEx shipping labels. We require your ship-from and ship-to address, and your labels will be emailed to you within 24 hours if your request is received Monday-Friday. If you purchased the add-on to have a FedEx pick-up scheduled then please indicate at this time for which weekday it would need to be scheduled. We are unable to specify a time and FedEx may arrive at any point on your chosen pick-up day.**
**If you experience any issues with FedEx in regards to them trying to charge you additionally, please contact our customer service ASAP before you take further action. The cost for this package includes the cost of the FedEx Shipping Labels, and you should not be charged anything out of pocket. The labels you will be emailed are pre-paid, and no additional payment would be due at the time that your packed boxes are shipped.**
