ORDER STATUS

You will receive a confirmation email very shortly after you place an order with DormCo to verify that the order was placed. The email will have a large number up top that serves as your order confirmation number. Please keep track of this number, as it will be needed if you have any further inquiries regarding your order.

Once your order ships, you will receive a second email confirming that it has shipped.

If you received a product but would like to exchange it for another, you may ship the item or items back to DormCo. All items sent back for exchange must be in unused, new condition and have their original packaging. Washed bedding materials cannot be exchanged. Shipping costs for sending a product back are covered by the customer. DormCo allows exchanges up to 120 days from when a product was purchased.


Please include your packing slip when sending an item back for an exchange, and CLEARLY INDICATE that you’d like to exchange the item. Please contact customer service if you need a new packing slip. Please clearly write the full name of the product as it appears on DormCo’s site that you’d like to exchange to. Please also include the product code of the product that you’d like to exchange to. The product code can be found under the “Availability” of a product just beneath its listed price on DormCo’s site. If it’s a product that has options, (such as colors) please indicate which option you’d like. The exchanged item will ship to the same shipping address as on the packing slip unless otherwise indicated. If the exchanged item costs more than the item being sent back, we will contact you to take payment for the difference. If it costs less, we'll refund the difference back to you. Sale prices for exchanged products will be honored only if the item is still on sale when the item is checked into our warehouse.


DormCo does not charge shipping to send out the exchanged item and there is no restocking fee. All exchanged items will be sent out with standard 4-8 business day delivery. If you require faster shipping, it’s best to just return the item for a refund and place a new order online and select a faster shipping option. Ship back to:

Click the "My Account" link at the top-center of our site to check your orders status. Once you are in your Dorm Co account, you will be able to choose "Review Orders / Track Packages." This section will give you up-to-the-minute information on your order status.

You will receive an email that says your order has shipped, and it will include your tracking number, if available. NOTE: This email is separate from the initial email you'll receive which confirms your order was placed.

Orders ship from DormCo's warehouse within 1 business day of your order being placed. Please see each individual item's page on the site for more information on how quickly that item will ship out. In the rare case of an item not shipping within one business day, it is probably a custom-made item or is experiencing very high demand.

Please contact us upon receipt of your order if you receive a damaged or defective item. An item that arrives damaged or defective with documentation can receive a free replacement. To do so, please contact DormCo by emailing help@dormco.com with your order number and photos.

If a replacement is not wanted, a defective or damaged item can be mailed back for a refund via our standard return policy. DormCo does not issue return shipping labels or cover the return shipping costs on a damaged or defective item that the customer wishes to return for a refund.

If damage or a defect becomes present under normal use of an item and you received your item within the last 90 days, please contact our Service Team at help@dormco.com.

If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact DormCo's Service Team by emailing help@dormco.com within 5 days of receiving the product.
Once an order is placed and you have an order number, the only way to change a quantity or cancel an order is to email help@dormco.com. "URGENT" should be included in the subject line for a faster response. It is important to note that if your order has already shipped or passed certain stages of our shipment processing, we will not be able to make a quantity adjustment or cancellation.

Click the "My Account" link at the top-center of our site to track your order. Once you are in your Dorm Co. Account you will be able to choose "Review Orders / Track Packages." This section will give you up-to-the-minute updates on your order status. If your order has shipped, you will see a tracking number next to where it says "shipped."

Usually the mail carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) will be listed next to the tracking number. At times, the carrier will change from the carrier shown. If the tracking number does not work, try inserting it on another carrier's site. For example, if the carrier listed is FedEx, try the same tracking number at both the websites of UPS and USPS.

NOTE: Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

If your order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. Please also check your paper packing slip. If an item is on backorder, it will be circled and say “Backorder” next to it.

Please thoroughly check the product, all of its packaging, and the surrounding area for any product parts. If unable to locate the parts in question, please contact DormCo customer service for assistance at help@dormco.com or 888-925-2899 within 30 days of receiving the product.

Backordered items typically take 4-6 weeks to restock but may take more or less time depending on the individual product. Once a backordered product is back in stock, we will immediately ship it to you. For a more specific estimated timeframe for a certain product, please e-mail help@dormco.com or call 888-925-2899. If at any point a backordered item is not able to be restocked, we will promptly refund the cost of the item that was on backorder.

Solve the problem by:

1. Clearing your Brower's Cache.
Some browsers need you to clear your cache before you can login. If you are familiar with how to do this, clear your cache and you'll be able to login to your DormCo account upon refreshing the DormCo page.

2. Reset your password.
If you do not know how to clear your cache, you can reset your password and this should also solve your login trouble.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

YES! Shipping is just $2.95 for your entire order for a 4-8 business day delivery. That's right, whether you buy 1 item or 100 items you pay just $2.95 (Flat Rate Shipping) The only catch is that you must ship within the 48 contiguous United States.

Orders ship within 24 hours! That's right, you pay $2.95 shipping and we get your order out the door in 24 hours or less! Keep in mind weekends don't count because our shipping carriers do not work on weekends. If you place an order Friday night, 24 hours is considered Monday. Your tracking information will be emailed shortly after your order ships.

We ship within 24 hours and orders take 4-8 business days to arrive based on your location. Our $2.95 shipping moves via standard ground shipping via UPS, Post Office or a combination of both (Surepost method). Since we ship most of products from our Madison (Nashville), TN warehouse you can estimate based on your Ship To location the total # of days it will take for your order to arrive. For example the closer you live to TN the lesser the number of days it will take your package to arrive.

We can do that! Because we ship most of products from our main Madison (Nashville), TN warehouse and we ship within 24 hours, we can ship AS FAST AS YOU WANT. During checkout you'll see faster shipping options listed under our everyday $2.95 shipping. These include: Shipping Fast Pass (Orders Cut the Line and if placed before 1pm CT your order will ship the same day), Guaranteed 3-Day or Guaranteed 2-Day and Guaranteed Overnight and First Overnight shipping. That's right, if you are willing to pay the overnight delivery charge, you can get your order within 24 hours as long as it's placed before 1 p.m. CT.

About Fast Pass: Many customers opt for Shipping Fast Pass, which arrives 2-3 days faster than our $2.95 Standard option. Why? Because Fast Pass orders get priority. Your order moves to the front of the line and if your order is placed before 1pm CT it will ship the same day. Further by selecting Fast Pass your order will not ship slow boat by the US Post Office and it will not ship via Surepost (slower, because it is a combination of UPS and the Post Office) Added Bonus: Shipping Fast Pass doesn't just move your order to the front of the queue it also ensures if there is an inventory shortage, your order as a Fast Pass order will get priority over previous orders not placed with Shipping Fast Pass.

What is your cut-off time for all upgraded Shipping including Fast Pass?


Good Question. Any orders prior to 1pm Central Time, we guarantee that the upgraded Shipping options including Fast Pass will go out the same day. For example if you order on a Tuesday at 1:59pm ET and select the shipping speed Fast Pass at checkout your order will go out the same day. This also means if you ordered Overnight shipping, you'll get it Wednesday, 2-Day you'll get it Thursday, 3-Day Friday and Fast Pass a full 2-3 days faster than our Standard $2.95 option. Orders after 1pm are guaranteed to ship the next day. You ask: "What happens if I order from 1-2pm CT, select Fast Pass or another upgraded shipping option and really need it to ship the same day?" Call us! (888-925-2899) Sometimes our service team can get exceptions to occur. It's a novel idea, a customer service team that works in an office next to our warehouse and not in India (no offense to India). Brilliant! With service next to the warehouse we can help without delays!

We can ship your order, however our $2.95 shipping cannot be extended to your location. Upon checkout you'll see the shipping options that are available.

Absolutely! We accept PayPal or credit cards from your bill-to address and we can ship your order directly to your university. Please make sure your University address is correct and complete, and we can ship your order for the $2.95 rate or you can upgrade your shipping to get it faster. If you want to place an order today, but you don't want it to ship until a future date, simply email us at help@dormco.com. Include your order # and the date you want your order to ship and we'll pre-pack it and have it scheduled for your desired arrival date. By doing this, you know that if you are coming all the way from England, Australia or whatever country you call home, your dorm stuff will arrive and be ready for your arrival.

Items must be returned within 30 days after delivery to the customer to be eligible for a refund or between 30 - 120 days for store credit. The refund or store credit will be for the purchase price of the product and will not include the shipping cost. If you receive store credit, it will be applied directly to your account and does not expire. Please read the information below carefully, as exceptions to the policy are not permitted.


All returned products must be in their original, salable, completely clean condition and all parts and pieces need to be included in order to receive a refund. Bedding and other washable products cannot have been washed. Orders returned in a used, damaged, or dirty condition (including hair and other debris) cannot be refunded. If a returned order comes back in violation of the stated requirements, it will not be subject to a refund. Please include a packing slip, order invoice, or a piece of paper with your order number on it with your return so that we can identify your order. Please allow at least 4-7 business days from the date the item is received back for the return and refund to be processed.

We strongly suggest shipping your return via a shipping method in which you can track your shipment so that you can be sure we have received your returned order. If an order is refused and sent back via a “Return to Sender” method, those return shipping costs plus $15 per box will be deducted from the refund. This method is not recommended, as there is a higher likelihood of your package being delayed, damaged, or lost.

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer and Dorm Co does not cover these costs, including return shipping labels, pick ups, etc. Returns should be sent to:

Standard (Arrives in 4-8 Business Days)

Always $2.95 and always a way to save! This shipping option is truly a DEAL. The only catch is that orders typically take 4-8 business days to arrive due to the utilized ship method known Surepost or other slow post office options. It takes 4-8 days to arrive because UPS first picks up the package and then delivers it to your local post office for final delivery by your local postal carrier.

Due to both UPS and the US Post Office handling your package, added time is needed, but you get a cheap flat rate ship cost of $2.95, no matter how many items you order. You must select this option when shipping to a P.O. Box, however a college address with a P.O. Box is actually considered a "college box," which means when shipping to a college or university address, you can select any of DormCo's offered shipping options.

Order Arrival Example: If you order anytime on Monday (example day chosen), your order ships the next day and is 100% guaranteed to arrive in 4-8 business days after that.

Fast Pass (Arrives in 2-5 Business Days)
If selected your order will ship with either UPS, FedEX, or USPS Priority via GROUND. The arrival date ranges from 2-5 business days because UPS range on how long the package will take to deliver based on your proximity to Madison (Nashville), TN (our main warehouse location). Overall, our Fast Pass Ground option will be 2-3 days faster when compared to our Standard $2.95 option. If time is of concern, this option adds very little ship cost and will ensure your goods arrive faster.

Our standard shipping options above do not apply to International, APO/FPO and shipments outside the continental 48 United States. Rates and options will appear but will not be the same as those depicted above.

What is the Guarantee?
If we miss your ship window we refund your shipping cost to the ship window we meet. So for instance if you upgrade to "Fast Pass" 2-5 business day delivery and it arrives after 6 days, we refund your ship cost to the $2.95 cost for failing to meet what you paid for. Further if our error creates a situation where the order has arrived too late and you no longer want your order, then we will pay for the return shipping of your package(s) and refund your order in full.
The only times we do not refund ship costs or cover return shipping on a missed guarantee is if we miss your paid-for ship window and it is not our fault. This would include if you put the wrong ship address or forget part of the ship address (apartment #, etc) or if we get it to FedEx/UPS on time but due to a natural disaster, extremely bad weather or their truck blows up (has happened once) they fail to deliver it on time. In these instances we did our part to meet the guarantee, and circumstances out of our control take the blame and do not apply to our guarantee.


Note: It is extremely rare for DormCo to miss a ship window. We make the guarantee to provide you, our customer, with an added level of trust in our commitment to on-time service. DormCo knows that orders arriving late are extremely detrimental. We take it as seriously as Santa Clause coming on December 26th, which is of course completely unacceptable! In other words, we'll meet your paid-for ship window.

All shipments not going to these states are TAX-FREE! It's just another way DormCo helps you save versus shopping in over-priced, low-selection retail outlets in your area.
